The long-awaited cria of our incomparable Chieftain have finally arrived. Without exception they demonstrate his ability to reproduce his fineness and fiber consistency. Kenosha is a product of Chieftain and an “elegant” black dam who is a National blue ribbon winner and has Black Mesquite and Cperuvian Silvio in her background. That's blue ribbon genetics on both sides of her ARI! Kenosha's fiber is a rich brown color...almost mahogany...with black tips on her ears. Beautifully soft fiber with crimp from skin to tips demonstrate the effect of good breeding. We believe that Kenosha is an excellent candidate for a black or gray herdsire. She made a strong showing so far with the judges. With a 3rd place at MAPACA, and a blue ribbon from VAOBA, we think she is the kind of quality a farm should be selecting for their foundation herd. Kenosha’s first breeding is to Casanova's Peruvian Crown Prince. Her dam bred to Crown gave us a beautiful gray female...Crown's Silver Chalice. Bet this one will be a rose gray...or a beautiful black...full Peruvian...and who cares if it's a boy or a girl with these kind of fiber stats and genetics!

Kenosha is due at the end of June, so she will officially go on "maternity leave" from the sales list at the end of May. I know we all want immediate gratification, and Kenosha can satisfy that need with a stunning cria. We've combined two of our best herdsires to produce this cria (Chieftain and Crown Prince...with Black Mesquite and Royal Black Forest thrown in there!), so your odds of getting an amazing cria are extremely high. You only have until the end of May to figure this one out... Then we get to enjoy her first super cria.
