We love black and gray, so those girls are high on our “Keeper” list. Crown Prince is doing a fantastic job of producing black and gray, so we are able to put one of our gray girls on the sale list. This was still a tough decision since Chalice has the fiber, genetics, and conformation we would love to keep in our own herd. Out of two banner winning parents, Chalice has the crimp, fineness, coverage, and density (I guess that about covers it all!) to make a big impact on a gray or black breeding program. Don’t start with an average gray female when Chalice puts you on the next level. She looks even better as a yearling!
