Flora got her name from a bit of Scottish history involving Bonnie Prince Charlie...but her ability to produce great looking gray cria from both her dam and sire. Highland Dunvegan, a former herdsire for us, finished second two years in a row at Nationals. Flora's dam is one of our original foundation females (still looking good, but retired from motherhood) who has three generations of black and gray in her background. We expect Flora to be another great black and gray producer for you from a variety of males...if you ever decide to breed her to anyone but Casanova's Peruvian Crown Prince! Flora's 2011 cria is a solid, typey male with a fleece that shows fineness, density, and crimp. Look for Crown's Silver Jacobite (some additional Scottish history) on our 2012 Spring show string. Flora is due with another Crown cria in June 2012. Maybe a stunning gray girl this time! Jacobite sells with his mom.
