Yea...Caledonia's repeat breeding to Chieftain produced a girl this time. Of course, another boy like Monarch (three banners and six blues) would not have been such a bad thing either. Highland Ceri is fine fleeced, elegant, and conformationally right on. She was shorn at just two months, and her first AFD came back at 16.9. We don't believe the next one will be too far off this one. Her fiber feels incredibly soft and is showing crimp from skin to tips with great staple regrowth. At the Best of the U.S., the judge placed her second and declared her the finest in the class. She has been confirmed bred to Casanova's Peruvian Crown Prince, our banner and blue ribbon wining gray male who routinely produces gray out of fawn...black, brown, gray... This will be a great pairing for a fine fleeced cria, regardless of color! Ceri is a sweetheart who will earn a place in your foundation herd with her personality, fiber, and genetics!

In an effort to facilitate our retirement sale, we are offering truly remarkable prices for packages of 2+ females, and have interest in our breeding males or herdsire quality younger males to include in a package. Our primary goal is to send our alpacas off to reputable breeders to insure their continued production success and health. If you have a need for upper end females, we have the females, the price, and the terms that will make your next one of quality and financial feasibility. Please inquire about package pricing for any of our sale alpacas.
